Conferences are the latest buzz in social media right now. They are awesome ways to help you better your blogging skills, meet some of your favorite bloggers in real life, and establish relationships with companies that you love.
Although I missed out on BlogHer 08, a piece of me was definitely there. When finding out that I couldn't make it, Katja volunteered to take my business cards along with her. Before the conference, Katja fell ill. It was in her best interest to take it easy, so she was unable to attend the conference. That's when Christine came to the rescue and took over the job of handing out my business cards. Oh and it gets better. You know all of the swag that's given out during BlogHer? Thanks to MomSelect, I was able to participate in their Virtual Swag Suite where I received a box of swag! Both Christine and Katja are veterans in the blogsphere, and it is bloggers such as these that make BlogHer such a wonderful opportunity.
