Spa Time Baby
9:36 PM Totally Kristin
I have had the chance to review the Spa Time Baby Cozy Care Cape. This product is fantastic! It is a towel for your baby that you slip over your head and wear while bathing your child. There is a waterproof panel sewn into the cape that prevents you from getting drenched during bath time. The cape/towel is made with luxurious 100% cotton terry and is oh so soft, not to mention the border around the towel is beautiful! This cape/towel is huge and will successfully protect any size momma from getting wet. And when your baby is reading to get out of the bath, just pick her up and snuggle her inside the towel. There is no need for you to fumble around with the towel while handling your slippery baby, no need to try and keep a towel tucked under your chin, it is right there! I really love this product! I am surprised this is the first time I have seen it! Thanks Spa Time Baby!

Be sure to have a toy for bath time. It helps baby to focus on something while you are trying your best to get every spot clean!

I give my daughter a bath at night to help calm her for bedtime.
April 11, 2009 8:35 AM
We use a baby/toddler tub so we only use as much water as we need.
We have her towel, diaper, and jammmies laid out ahead of time.
And she has her Boon water bugs {her new fave} to play with. She actually loves bath time {thankfully lol}.

Make sure you have the room warm and everything read ahead of time. I lay out the towel and washcloth and start running water while I pick out his PJs and have a diaper open and waiting. Then I dump in the toys and we're ready to go!

Make up songs to match what you are doing. One of my favorites is "wash your body" sung to the the Justin Timberlake song - that says "rock your body" - at least I think that is what the original is LOL. My daughter loves it and it makes bathtime fun!

Hi, What a much needed product. I just want to make sure no one leaves their baby or small child unattended. That's the most important tip. I love to cuddle my baby and rock while wrapped up in towel. All things a bonding experience to make sweet memories. Thanks and blessings to all who read this. Use a baby tub or the kitchen sink while baby is small enough. Much easier and safer.

Make sure you have everything ready and take the diaper off at the last second possible, esp if you have a little guy.

My best bathtime tip is to have everything laid out and orderly so when baby or small toddler get out of bath you can easily find everything you need!

If you have a baby boy watch out for fountains :)
April 19, 2009 4:34 PM
I always make sure I have everything I need.. THEN get baby in the tub... rotating out toys also keeps bath time fun and entertaining
April 19, 2009 5:30 PM
Get everything you need beforehand and wrap them quickly after the bath. I hate seeing my LO shiver.

GREAT CONTEST
April 19, 2009 7:40 PM
Lay everything out before giving the bath. Including the sleeper you'll put the baby in. I also use a big pitcher from the kitchen - I fill it up with hot water before I give the bath. It will be just the right temperature for rinsing my daughter's hair once she is done - no need to run the water again until it gets the right temp.
April 19, 2009 8:03 PM
Save empty plastic containers for the kids to fill up and play with, especially dish detergent bottles. You'll get lots of bubbles.
April 19, 2009 9:06 PM
Have all your towels, wash cloths, soap etc all within reach so you don't have to get up and go get something.
April 19, 2009 9:47 PM
My bathing tips are I pre-warm my son's water for his bath before I stick him into his bath seat. This lets him immediately feel warm water and not "freak" when I put him in. I also purchased a kneeling pad that goes next to the tub it really helps not have sore knees while I am knealing to bathe him. SO those are my tricks pretty simple, but they help during bath time.

Be flexible. Sometimes my son likes his baths. Sometimes he's dirty and really tired and a shower with daddy gets the job done quicker.
April 20, 2009 2:14 PM
I definitely have to agree with the above comment about having all of your goodies lined up during bath time such as the toys, towels and washclothes available close at hand, etc. It really does help! Thanks for a great giveaway :)
April 20, 2009 2:30 PM
We give our son his bath in our bathroon with the overhead heater, and get the room warm before running the water, this way we have fewer pee attacks. (Seems to happen more when he gets cold).
