Someone New Sunday
1:00 AM Totally CaseyDeuce
This Someone New Sunday is Julie from Mom2Ways. As a Mom of 3 kiddos and married for 22 years, she blogs at Mom2Ways about faith, family, fun stuff and there's so much more mixed in! And yes, she IS a Mom2Ways- She's a top notch Mom not only by birth but by adoption as well! How would you describe your blog?
"I blog about my life, love, faith and family. And I like to tell about products I love. My blog is, foremost, a personal blog. I don't ever want to have more "commercials" than other stuff."
What is your favorite type of post to write on your blog? A review, a "day of the week" meme? Random ramblings? etc... and why!?
"My favorite Meme is Then Sings My Soul Saturday at Signs, Miracles & Wonders. I enjoy sharing songs that I find enjoyable. And I like to read other people's favorites."
Let me know a fun or quirky fact about you!
"I'm the middle of 3 generations of left-handed women.
I'm the youngest of 7 kids.
I've never dated anyone except my husband, and we got married when I was 17.
I turn 40 this year (October)."
What do you think makes a good blog post or a good blogger?
"I had a high school English teacher who, when asked, "How long does it have to be?", always answered, "A man once asked Lincoln how long a man's legs should be. Lincoln answered, 'Long enough to reach from his hips to the ground'" Basically the idea was our papers needed to be long enough to reach our intended goal. I'd say the same for a blog post. I've seen some blog posts that go on and on and on...... the information may be great, but I get bored easily! Other blog posts get a good start, but then leave you wanting more.
A good blogger is someone who has something to say, and who knows how to say it in an interesting way."
Describe yourself in 5 words.
"Christian, friend, leader, influencer, encourager"
