Summer Fun

Kids do not need extravagance and money to be happy. Disney World/Land, they could take them or leave them, especially if they have never been there. Kids will be just as happy going down to the local pond or lake and trying to fish for the first time. 

Check and see what you can find locally, fish hatcheries are great the kids where they can feed the fish there. Local science museums, hiking trails, local zoo, or a ceramic painting places where they can paint a piece themselves, how about a drive through a Wildlife Preserve - you can drive through and see the animals living there. Local horse back riding or a llama farm? Are there any local underground caves that you can go through?

You do not have to leave your state to find things to do with your kids. In fact it makes things easier on you. Ever get back from a vacation with your kids and you feel like you a need a vacation from the vacation? It's not very relaxing to take your kids on vacation. It is also not great on your pocket book or your carbon admissions. So take a look around locally, talk to friends and family and see if they can make recommendations.

Chances are there are some things near by you may have never heard of. And your kids will have just as much fun trying something new as you will have on the car ride home when they are asleep!
