Uncle Sam Cereal MEGA Review

Nutrition is one of the utmost important things we can do for ourselves and our families, so when Extraordinary Mothers had a chance to try out Uncle Sam's cereal, we wanted to see if it was something that could fit into each of our lives.

A bit about Uncle Sam's from their site:
This high fiber cereal is a unique blend of toasted whole grain wheat flakes and flaxseed. Each bowl of this whole grain cereal is loaded with powerful, heart healthy ALA Omega-3's from flaxseed and is high in dietary fiber. It is also a low sodium and low sugar cereal (with less than 1g sugars). Best of all, the toasted whole grain wheat flakes and flax seed stay crispy and crunchy from the first spoonful to the last.

Jenn at My Life With The Crazies: "We received the Uncle Sam's Original Cereal with Flaxseed and it was really good! Crunchy little flakes that were very tasty! It replaced our morning bowl of Special K and I am actually kind of hooked now! I have to say that I have eaten this every morning since I received it a week ago and I actually feel good!"

Valerie from Sweeps4Bloggers: "My younger son does like the cereal - he adds a lot of maple sugar to it and enjoys it. I'm not really thrilled about the quantity of sugar, but he's getting the fiber and the other good nutrition from the cereal and that's a good thing. I think that even with the sugar, this ends up being better for him that other not so healthy cereals."

CaseyDeuce from A Couch With A View: "My husband is one of those "give me the crunchiest cereal you can find" guys and especially loved that Uncle Sam's didn't get soggy in the milk and stayed crunchy the whole time he ate his ginormous bowls of cereal! Though he loved the crunch, I simply loved that he was eating it. He's not the healthiest of eaters so when something comes along that he likes that's healthy, I'm thrilled!"

Mmm! We love healthy cereal. Especially the mister, he needs something more substantial to get him through the morning. He burns through those flimsy cereals too quick. We'll have to give this a try!
